공연개요
“People meet and laugh, cry, fight, forgive, suffer, and heal each other. The process of falling and rising again, breaking down and rebuilding—it all culminates in what we call love.”Imagine a musical piece set against the backdrop of the planet Saturn, singing the songs of love. Three jazz musicians create a delicate sound, unfolding a love story that feels both familiar and foreign—a problematic love of our times, portrayed like a drama. Amid the beautiful yet tumultuous melodies, each finds their own version of love. Can we still love like this? KimOki Saturnballad was conceived with the idea of what it might feel like if there were people on Saturn, playing ballads. Composed of KimOki, a saxophonist called a problematic jazz performer of this era and winner of the 2014 Korean Music Award for Best Jazz & Crossover Performance; Chin Sooyoung, a composer and jazz pianist; and Jeong Sumin, a bassist who deeply feels the sadness of vanishing things. These musicians, active across genres in their respective fields, dive deep into their music, stirring up a range of complex human emotions such as joy, anger, sadness, love, desire, pleasure, and hate, and at times calming these feelings to create inner depths.
